Floor No More
Services
We remove old floors. Simple enough with the right tools and the right know how.

Tile
The first layer of tile is usually straightforward. The thin-set layer requires more time and energy to completely remove

LVP - Luxury Vinyl Plank
Depending on the underlayment and subfloor LVP is usually easy enough to remove

Carpet
Tackstrips and glue can make carpet a bit of a nightmare, but our process makes it one of the shortest removals

Laminate
Laminate is often placed directly on top of old floors, potentially creating multi-layered removals and delays

Glued Hardwood
Glued Hardwood can be the most stubborn material to remove, depending on adhesion and subfloor

Mix & Match
Removing various materials on the same job is typical, requiring different techniques and strategies
What is Included?

1
Site Inspection
We work with homeowners, business owners, installers, and contractors. Sometimes our initial quote inspection may have been months before we actually begin the removal process.
Each project begins with a site assessment to double check that everything we expect is in place, and that there are no surprises before we proceed.
2
Furniture Removal
We strive to ensure that every piece of furniture, object, and knick-knack that can moved gets moved. Ideally the site is clear of as many large items as possible.
Many jobs involve an active living space or business, and our team makes sure that anything that isn't needed is removed prior to starting.
3
Dust Control
Oh, there will be dust!

One of the most important stages of each job consists of covering each doorway, appliance, fixture, cabinet, counter, sink, light fixture, air vent, smoke detector, light switch, electric socket, window treatment, unmovable furniture, and any electronic devices near the floor to be removed. Preventing dust from settling on these surfaces makes cleanup easier and leaves the site completely clean for the installation to begin.
4
Baseboard &
Quarter Round Removal
Many new flooring projects require new or modified baseboards, so we work with the decision maker ahead of time to plan either the removal or retention of baseboards throughout the project area. Quarter round is removed where applicable.

As always, communication and expectation setting conversations ensure we get the job done right.
5
Debris Haul Away
All flooring material, underlayment, adhesives, nails, thin-set mortar, tack strips, and debris are removed and hauled to an appropriate disposal facility. Our branded 16 ft Box Truck allows us to efficiently take the entire debris load at once, eliminating delays.

Customers are often surprised to learn that many materials including tile end up being recycled into additional construction materials.
